About Fund

Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan was established by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan (Cabinet of Ministers) on November 17, 2004.

The Fund is an active member of international venture industry associations such as International Venture Club, Invest Europe, and actively collaborates with the U.S., Asian and European leading venture capital firms, financial, infrastructure development institutions and business angels.

Our mission: developing science-intensive industries and implementing new advanced technologies, formation of new innovation activity development approaches, assisting innovations, facilitating conditions for creating systems of venture financing and improving support system for science-intensive small and medium-sized businesses around the globe.

Within the scope of its investment activities the Fund specializes in direct and fund of funds investments. Direct investments involve seed/startup, emerging growth, late stage investments and mature companies.

  • Participating in implementing innovation and investment projects, including those, which are on the earliest, most risky stages of development by providing financial information and analysis, financial consultancy;

  • Business organization consultancy, including sponsorship search and business inquiries;

  • Arranging and conducting of conferences, organizing and hosting fairs, exhibitions;
  • Developing and implementing progressive mechanisms for small and medium-sized business support;
  • Promotion of companies’ products;
  • Gaining favorable publicity and investment attractiveness of the Republic of Tatarstan by participating in regional, and international exhibitions and fairs.
